Bramble
Hand-crafted cabin with mountain views
Bramble is our newest cabin, and we had some fun designing and decorating it. Like Holly, it was designed and built by a talented local craftsman using locally-sourced materials where possible.
This wooden yurt is off grid, peaceful and entirely self-contained. A toasty wood burner and double glazing keep the cabin warm on chilly evenings and throughout the winter, and we provide plenty of rugs, cushions and blankets - meaning it’s open for visits all year round.
Luxurious and well equipped
Bramble sleeps four adults or a family of five. It has a sumptuous king-size bed, and quality linen and towels are provided. The day-bed can convert into two single beds, and we can provide an additional bed or cot on request (pillows are provided but please bring sheets or sleeping bags for the single beds).
There’s a small table and chairs for playing board games or indulging in romantic meals.
Sundowners for sunset on the deck
This glamping cabin is tucked away in the hedgerow, opening onto a sundeck with open views over the field and up to the Black Mountains.
There’s a fully equipped kitchen hut, Picnic bench, deckchairs, firepit/BBQ, private compost loo and a short walk away you’ll find a luxury shower room which is for your sole use. We’re completely off grid, but have a solar panel for lighting and phone charging. The piping hot shower and handy fridge are gas powered.
All-weather glamping
Our glamping cabins are designed for all Welsh weather. Bramble is double glazed and fully insulated with an excellent wood burning stove. Choose from al-fresco dining and cooking over the fire pit, or using your private and well equipped glamp kitchen, just a couple of metres from the cabin (bunting decked, naturally).
Holy
Woodland glamping hideaway
On the edge of the wood by the stream, Holly is unique and peaceful. Built by a local craftsman using reclaimed and locally sourced materials where possible, it’s a charming yurt-inspired cabin. Fully insulated, the beautiful timber framing and attention to deal make it a cosy and calming place to stay all year round.
Secret den in the woods
Amongst some trees. overlooking the stream, Holly occupies the most private spot on site. Popular with children for its ‘den’ like feel and couples because of its privacy, It offers something for everyone.
Inside you’ll find stylish decor, crisp white linen on the super comfy kingsize bed, a roaring wood burner and a little table and chairs for games (there’s a good selection of books and board games in there) and conversation.
Sleeps 4 or a family of 5
There’s plenty of space for friends and family. The day bed converts into two single beds, and we can add another cot or bed if you need it (we provide pillows but bring sheets or sleeping bags for the single beds).

Maize
Three beautifully crafted glamping yurts with uniquely stylish decor. The locally built luxury yurts are spaced out along the stream, raised up on decks overlooking our fields and up to the mountains. Set far enough apart so as not to disturb each other, but close enough for groups who wish to holiday together, each sleeps up to four adults or a family of five.
Glamp in style
Named after the crops grown in our arable field, Barley is the first one you come to and enjoys the evening sun, Wheat is tucked away into the corner of the field and Maize, although the furthest away, has the best panoramic views.
Stargaze from your bed
Each one has a huge skylight which offers the unique experience of stargazing from your bed. As we’re in a Dark Sky Reserve, the lack of light pollution means we have fabulously starry nights.
Comfy beds
Full of charm, and styled with a combination of antique and modern furnishings, the interior of each yurt is slightly different. Each has a super comfy king-size bed, complete with 100% cotton linen and towels and two single beds (please bring sleeping bags or duvets & sheets for these). An extra child’s bed or travel cot is available on request.
We’ve thought of everything
For your comfort, you’ll also find rugs, cushions, blankets, a range of atmospheric lighting, and of course the wood burning stove to cosy up to (a basket of logs is included, more can be purchased on site). There’s a small table and chairs for playing board games or indulging in romantic meals.
Each pitch is completely self contained. There’s a large sundeck with outdoor shelter, a fully equipped kitchen hut, picnic bench, deckchairs, firepit/BBQ, private compost loo and a private shower room.
